WEEKLY  EVENTS

All Fundraising Projects are very important to our School.  During these projects all educators and parents/guardians must join hands in an attempt to raise money for much needed extra funds.  The following projects are part of our 2011 Programme:

A.      PUSH CART COMPETITION


This project will be held in the 2nd term, where learners and parents/guardians must fill in parts of a small car by donating an amount as set out on the car's parts.  The learners can once again win big prizes this year.  During this days' activities,  learners race against each other on the Rugby Field and this is for sure an event that's not to be missed by parents/guardians and of course our learners!

B.      GOLF DAY


This event takes place at the Akasia Country Club each year during the month of October when the sun does not shine so hot!  All players, young and old, are participating in a very festive mood competing against each other over 18 holes!

C.      SPRING FESTIVAL/RAFFLE


During September we will combine our Spring Festival and Raffle.  This day is organized to thank all the learners and their parents/guardians for their generous contributions towards our Push Cart Competition.  During the day the learners will take part in fun-activities and we will close this day's activities with a Bring-and-Braai, to be attended by parents/guardians.  The names of the winners of the Raffle Competition will also be drawn during the evening. Parents/Guardians and learners can win big prizes!

D.      MINI PROJECTS


These small projects, usually held on a Friday, takes place during the year and include the following:
            **  Grade Sales
            **  Small Shows
            **  Movies
            **  Wearing of "home clothes".

E. WATER FESTIVAL

This day will be in the first term this year. Learners will take part in a wonderful day of swimming in the sun
